In October, Eleanor and Lauren’s class were delighted to welcome visitors from Skerries Tidy Towns to talk about their SEALS initiative.
Our guests spoke to us about what it means to be a Tidy Towns advocate and shared ideas on how we can all help to care for our local area.
We discussed the importance of keeping our beaches clean, collecting litter safely, leaving no trace, and encouraging our friends and families to do the same.
The Skerries Tidy Towns team kindly presented each pupil with a special, limited-edition jersey to wear proudly around the town—especially when we’re out doing some litter picking!
We are so proud of the pupils in our school for showing such enthusiasm and care for the environment—the future truly is in good hands!
