Visit from Lyndsay Martin-Fenlon, author of "Melting Moments : A Heartwarming Story about Dementia", with Skerries Forget Me Not Cafe

21st Oct 2025
The student council, and pupils from Louise's Bród class, were visited by author Lyndsay Martin-Fenlon and members of the Skerries Forget Me Not Cafe on Tuesday 21st October 2025. Lyndsay brought along some copies of her new book, "Melting Moments : A Heartwarming Story about Dementia", in both English and as Gaeilge, which she very kindly donated to the school.  The children had an opportunity to listen to Lyndsay read from her book, and to ask questions about its characters and its meaning.  The student council members will now let their classes know about Lyndsay's book, which we hope many of them will read in the coming weeks.

We are very grateful to Lyndsay and to Skerries Forget Me Not Cafe for visiting our school to discuss the issue of dementia, which is something that affects many families in our community.
