Our 5th Class recently went head-to-head with our rivals next door in a fiery debate on the motion: “Social media should be banned for under 16s.”
Armed with confidence, clever comebacks and (probably) a touch of dramatic flair, our debaters tackled the big issues; cyberbullying, brain rot, addiction, inappropriate content, scams and even medical concerns. It was passionate, persuasive and occasionally hilarious.
The rival class claim they won, but, let’s face it, that’s adorable. The truth? Our team’s arguments were watertight, our rebuttals razor-sharp and our victory… undeniable. 🎯
And parents, the best part? The children argued so convincingly that they all now agree social media should definitely be banned for under-16s. So, feel free to go ahead and delete their accounts - they said it, not us! 😉📱🚫
