School lottery update

7th Feb 2025
Dear parents and guardians,

I hope that you are all well.

As we have reached the end of the first full month of our school lottery (the first draw took place on 19th December, and each Thursday evening since then), I want to update you all on its progress so far.  The first thing to say is thank all of you who have registered to play the lottery since it was launched.  We have almost 70 players on a weekly basis and this is a real help to the school in terms of the money it has raised so far.  Whether you play 1 line for €2.50 per week, or 3 lines for €5 per week, your support is hugely appreciated and on behalf of everyone here in school I would like to thank you for your involvement.  Should you wish to sign up to play the lottery at any stage, you can do so by following this link here, and it only takes a few minutes to do so.

The other headline news is that the jackpot has yet to be won.  We look forward to being able to announce a winner of the jackpot in the coming weeks and months, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for this.  There have, however, been eight weekly winners since the first draw in December, each of whom has received a €20 prize.  These weekly winners are as follows:

19th December - Emily Quinn
26th December - Rebecca McIvor
2nd January - Gemma Roche
9th January - Edel Lally
16th January - Alan Daly
23rd January - Edel Griffith
30th January - Emily Quinn
6th February - Kate Grey

I will keep you all updated on the weekly winners (and whether or not the jackpot has been won) on a weekly basis from this point going forward.  Thanks again to everyone involved for their support so far.

Kind regards,
Conor
