June 6th class Tom

24th Jun 2026
Our final month in primary school was an enjoyable one full of fun events and days out.

In the classroom 6th class finished their Life Skills and School Completion workshops with Sophie.
We also spent more time on art working with clay, paper mache and creating our piece of art for the graduation that will stay in school on display as a way of remembering the 6th class of 2026.

On the sporting front we had our final GAA and soccer sessions and the 6th class boys played the 5th class boys in a soccer match in Kelly's Bay.

On Monday 22nd many of the 6th class children that took part during our lunch time league went on an after school trip in to Tolka Park to watch the Dublin derby between Shelbourne and Bohemians.

We had a chocolate making workshop where each child made a personalised chocolate. Thanks to the PTA for organising this event for the whole school.

We had a pizza party and disco in the hall during our last week in school to reward the children for all their hard work all year.

We had many days out this month including a trip to Ardgillan, a beach clean up and fun in South Strand beach and our memorable school tour to Carlingford.

The biggest event of the month and possibly year was our graduation on Wednesday June 24th. It was a day full of celebrations, memories, songs, fun and achievement as 6th class received their graduation certificates and yearbooks for finishing primary school.

Congratulations 6th class.
