This December, we hosted an art exhibition in our classroom to showcase and celebrate all of the artwork we created throughout the term. We displayed pieces from each strand of the Primary Art Curriculum, including Drawing, Paint and Colour, Print, Clay, Construction, and Fabric and Fibre.
Much of our artwork was inspired by topics we learned about, such as the Monks of Early Christian Ireland, the Skellig Islands, and Samhain. We also explored weaving, learning how looms were used in the past and how they continue to be used today.
We were incredibly proud to share all of our hard work and creativity.
