Bláithín's 6th Class November

30th Nov 2025

November was an action-packed month for us.

We kicked things off with Science Week, where the children worked in groups to carry out exciting experiments. We even braved Storm Claudia to save the classroom from a few potential explosions!

On Wednesdays, the class has been learning safe cycling skills, and in PE we began the gymnastics strand.

Our trip to Glasnevin was a real highlight. The children were captivated by the tour and learned so much about Irish history. Afterwards, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful Botanic Gardens.

In History, we have been studying World War II, and the children produced some fantastic projects.

The recent Ireland football matches inspired excellent report writing in English, with great enthusiasm shown by all.

We finished the month with Friendship Week where we learned about our new Bi Cineálta policy. We are very proud of Ronerts, Sam, and Evan, who created the school’s wonderful new child-friendly poster.

We also enjoyed some lovely buddy activities with 2nd class, including tin-foil art, storytelling, and dodgeball. Some of the children also joined Seolta Bród and Misneach for fun activities.
