A round up of January
It has been a very busy and productive first month back after the break. In Science, the children explored magnets and carried out a range of hands-on experiments, including finding the poles of a magnet, making temporary magnets, and investigating which objects can be attracted through different materials.
Literacy Week was another highlight of the month. The children learned about the process of narrative writing and worked step by step to create their own stories. Every child in the class proudly published a finished piece, which is a fantastic achievement, well done to all. Best of luck to everyone!
In Learn Together, we have been learning about our rights, as well as the importance of our responsibilities in allowing others to uphold theirs.
This is just a small snapshot of our busy month. To finish, we are delighted to share a video of the beautiful forest soundscape the children created using only their bodies, a wonderful example of creativity and teamwork.
