Second Class have been learning all about weight and procedural writing this term. Today, they were given the task of following a recipe, working as a team, and weighing their ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies! I was so proud of them—they did an amazing job and needed little, if any, help.
We also enjoyed an outdoor assembly in the sunshine and ended the day with some creative art. The children have been exploring the 5 K’s associated with Sikhism and created thoughtful posters and objects to represent each one. A lovely way to finish off a challenging week of end-of-year assessments.
