We had a visit from local author Shane Hegarty during Literacy Week. The children loved listening to him and got lots of inspiration for their own writing.
The children wrote some brilliant stories for the PTA Short Story competition. Well done to Lauren who won first prize for her fantastic story.
The boys and girls enjoyed buddy reading with senior infants and 1st class.
