Admissions
Skerries Educate Together NS has a new Admissions Policy for the 2026-27 school year. This document includes the criteria and procedures for applying for school places in our mainstream classes, early intervention classes (Seolta) and our school aged autism classes (Bród and Misneach). This policy is available to view and download below. The policy has been written in compliance with the Education (Admission to Schools) Act (2018) and is aimed at ensuring a fair and transparent admissions process to all who apply for a school place for their child in Skerries Educate Together.
Skerries Educate Together NS published its annual admissions notice on Monday 12th January 2026. This notice gives all of the relevant information about applying for a place in our Seolta and mainstream classes for the 2026-27 school year, in accordance with the Education (Admission to Schools) Act (2018). Please note that applications for these classes can be made between Monday 19th January and Monday 9th February. This admissions notice is available to view and download both on the homepage of the school website and under the “Admissions” heading at the top of the homepage. The relevant application forms for our mainstream classes and Seolta classes are also available on the school website under the "Admissions" tab.
At this time it is not possible to include our school-aged autism classes (Bród, Misneach and any new classes that will open in September 2026) in our admissions notice, as we don't know for sure the exact number of these classes that will be open in Skerries ETNS from September 2026. A construction project has been underway since July 2025 to build an additional four school-aged autism classes here, and we are waiting for confirmation from the NCSE about the number of these classes that will open in September 2026.
A further admissions notice will be issued as soon as there is clarity on the number of school-aged autism classes that will be open in 2026-27. Please keep an eye on our website for updates and more information on this.
