A big thank you to our former Student Council who were Emma, Ciarán, Shona, Finn, Emily and Melody – well done on all of your hard work!

Also, thank you to Neasa for organising and facilitating meetings of the Student Council up to now. Joanne will now take over from Neasa.  We had our first meeting today and we are all very excited about the year ahead!

Our new Green School Committee

Hello everyone,

We’ve had our first meeting and we’re putting together our ideas for the year and preparing our green school display.

If you’d like some pet bedding made from shredded paper, you can get some from us at our table in the lobby at 8.30 on Friday 19th October. We’ll have a regular stall once a month, so you’ll be able to stock up for your rabbit and guinea pig hutches!

Talk to you all soon,

Wiktoria, Nova, Harry, Sam,  Lucy, Jamie and Sylvia

We enjoy the game and hope you will too!

See you all next week.

Why Do Boats Float?

Why Do Boats Float?

Cian’s Senior Infants and First Class have been investigating why boats float. To find out the answer, we made boats from Plasticine and then checked how many passengers (chickpeas) our boats could carry.

Riverdance, here we come!!

Riverdance, here we come!!

First and Second Class have been learning some great Irish traditional dances this year. They have already learned ‘An Damhsa Mór’ and are now adding the ‘Siege of Ennis’ to their reportoire. The children picked up the steps very quickly and lots of fun was had by all!
